Titleist ProV1 and ProV1x golf balls
Titleist are the most popular brand of golf balls in the world. The Titleist ProV1 was first released on 2000, and it's been so succesful that they've released lots of improved versions since then.
The ProV1 and ProV1x are available in both white and yellow, and they alos have different numbered balls available which are popular.
The Titleist ProV1 golf ball has a 3 piece construction and the ProV1x is a 4 piece ball. The compression of the ProV1 is around 87 and the ProV1x is slightly higher at around 94.
The ProV1 has a different flight, spin and feel to the ProV1x, which you can see on-course or in a simulator.
We recommend these balls for low handicap players and tour players.
Titleist AVX golf balls
Titleist AVX is also a premium three piece golf ball and is becoming more popular each year. It is also used by tour players and offers a lower flight and spin, compared to the ProV1 and ProV1x.
It will feel slightly softer than the ProV1 and ProV1x because the compression is reduced to around 80.
The AXV ball is available in white and yellow, numbers are standard 1-4 only.
We recommend these golf balls for low handicap players.
Titleist Tour Soft golf balls
Titleist Tour Soft is a excellent two piece golf ball for mid to low handicap players. It's considerably cheaper than the ProV1 and AVX, but still offers excellent spin, soft feel and distance.
It has a very large core and thin outer layer which gives it a soft compression of around 60.
We recommend these balls for mid-low handicap players looking for a soft feel golf ball with good performance.
Titleist Velocity golf balls
Titleist Velocity golf balls are one of our most popular two piece mid-range golf balls, and are available in various colours. It's designed for high speed and high launch, and it's extremely durable. It's doesn't offer as much control as the Tour Soft golf balls, but it will travel further for most golfers.
We recommend these balls for mid handicap players looking for a straight distance golf ball.
Titleist Trufeel golf balls
Titleist Trufeel golf balls are extremely popular for higher handicap golfers that have a lower budget. It offers excellent distance and durability, and is the lowest priced ball in the Titleist Range.
Our simulator testing showed that this is one of the straightest and longest golf balls that you can buy. It's also available in both yellow and white.
We recommend these balls for mid-high handicap players looking for a budget distance golf ball.
