But what is the difference between the two print services we offer at Best4Balls?

Personalised Golf Balls

Our personalised service is a digital print, this means we use cmyk, a combination of colours resulting in a full colour image, similar to what you would expect when you print from your printer at home or when printing a photo.

The digital service if perfect for photos, or for logos which contain many colours or gradients as this produces an exact replica to a very high quality.

We use the best inks and UV curing to ensure that the print is a durable as it can be on your golf balls.

Digital printing is never going to be a permanent solution because of how the ink sits on the ball but the combinations we use mean that we can offer the most durable service there is in the UK.

Digitally printed golf balls are very versatile, because we have no minimum order quantity these can be an ideal gift or just as a box for yourself but can also be used for smaller corporate golf days, golf societies of trips.

At Best4Balls we are also unique because all of our printing is done, in-house. Unlike other companies who have the golf balls printed by a third-party we have our own dedicated digital printing team. Because we print in-house we can offer speedy print times with our standard print taking just 3-5 working days, urgent orders can be printed in 2 days, 24 hours, or the same working day.

Logo Golf Balls

The second service we offer is an industry standard print which you will see offered by most of the major golf ball manufacturers.

This process also has a dedicated team who manage your order from start to finish. From placing your order they will create a visual proof of your logo, this includes a to-scale image of your logo on the golf ball and pantone references which will match your logo.

Once this is approved we will start the printing process, this involves creating plates for your logo (which we keep on file for future orders) and mixing the inks to create the exact colour match to your logo.

For this service we have a minimum order of 12 dozen (144 balls), but if necessary you can mix these between balls and brands as long as we are printing the same logo.

Each ball is then manually lined up and printed by hand, rather than like our personalised golf balls which are laid out and printed as a batch.

The inks which are used are heat cured which means once printed we put them into the “oven” to cook for around 24 hours. This process seals the ink and provides a near permanent print.

Because the logo print process take longer than the digital service the lead times are slightly longer with the standard print sitting around 7-10 working days but we also offer great express options and can have the golf balls ready to ship in just 2 working days.
